Show Notes

This week on FiredUP Steve will discuss a story coming out of Idaho that could spell trouble with receiving care for any acute illness. Idaho has implemented a Crisis of Care standing where patients are ranked to receive ICU care and ventilators based on their age, condition and other factors. It means that some might not receive critical care and some will.

We will also uncover additional variants of Covid that could extend the pandemic and may not be fully resolved by the current vaccines.

On the political side, Steve reviews the event held on the 18th, the "Justice for J6" rally in Washington DC and how it fell short of expectations.

What is a Trillion Dollar coin and how do some think it could solve the Debt Ceiling crisis that could hit in mid-October? Steve will explore this radical proposal.

Finally, Steve looks at the coming redistricting plans from Republican and Democrat states and what it means for control of the House.
