·         Justice Katanji Brown-Jackson takes her seat on the US Supreme Court making history as the first African-American female Supreme Court Justice.

·         We look at the first round of cases that SCOTUS will take up in the new session starting Oct 3rd. As predicted, the court is taking direct aim at racial admissions to colleges, strengthening gerrymandering and redistricting initiatives, stripping rights to reverse convictions in certain cases and more.
