- More drama over Gov DeSantis shipping asylum seeking immigrants from Texas to Massachusetts. Now a Texas Sheriff is proposing charges against the Florida Governor for transporting them under false pretenses, which could lead to them getting nonimmigrant status visas and remaining in the US until their court dates.
- Former President Trump says he would consider appearing before the Jan 6th Committee to testify “if it would be done under his terms”. Specifically, he wants his testimony broadcast live and in real time. Others have testified live only after their taped depositions have been shown during the live hearings. No formal reply has been given by either side in the matter.
- The Supreme Court is expected to announce soon when they will hear arguments on the Moore v. Harper case out of North Carolina which will address the legality of the Independent State Legislature Rule which would give the legislature of the State near unassailable control over federal elections and likely lock in one-party rule in the states.
