Show Notes

This week, we will be discussing the latest Covid news asa always, but we will also be placing our progress through the pandemic against other pandemics over the past 100 years (Smallpox, Polio, Measles, etc) looking at how vaccines and medical treatment eliminated these.

- We will have a discussion about an old term that is making a comeback. Specifically, "The Silent Majority". Created 1,000 yrs ago, made famous/infamous by Richard Nixon in 1969 now a reference to those who don't register or vote.
- Now that the Arizona "audit" is nearly done and the results will not overturn the election, GOP members are starting to criticize the process publicly.
- Fox news went after US Reps Talib and Pressley of the Squad for receiving rental income from properties during the CDC eviction moratorium. They failed to mention however that that isn't an illegal or proscribed process.
- A new educational curriculum called the 1776 Unites initiative is out to compete against Critical Race Theory. We will look at this new offering and one of its backers.
