Ep 95 - COVID Vaccine Updates, Infrastructure and More!

In our weekly Covid review, we speak to the fact that the US is starting to see the effects of vaccinations and safe health practices in the form of reductions in the rates of infection, hospitalization and deaths. We're not anywhere near being out of the woods yet, nut its progress.

In the political arena, one of our frequent subjects, FL Gov Desantis is back in the news as he is being sued over holding 3 Legislative seats, one State and two Congressional, unfilled for more that 75 days. The three districts are all majority Black communities. Surprised???

In Texas, battles are on-going over infrastructure issues such as the electric grid status as we approach winter. 

At the federal level, huge battles continue over the two infrastructure bills proposed by the Biden administration. Democrats run the government, and hold most of the blame for not exercising the control they have. No lessons learned from the Obama era and what happened when they lost the house and senate?

The Biden administration is also taking heat for a proposal within the $3.2T Soft Infrastructure bill that would mandate Banks to report all monthly cash flows in and out of individual bank accounts.

Finally, we take a brief look at Polls and how they work as we enter into the political season ahead of the Mid-Terms.
