This week we will focus on the MLK Holiday as we celebrate what would have been his 93rd birthday.
- What does the holiday mean in today's terms? Are there still issues that would have been at MLK's center of action list? Where would he be on the election issues of 2020?
- We will look at how we got the holiday in the first place and what we need to do to continue to honor MLK's legacy. We need to go beyond the Dream speech and consider what King stood for in today's terms.
- We call to re-learn the messages from the Letter From A Birmingham Jail and other writings from Dr King
- We will also formally launch the election 2022 messaging ( I know, seems like we just put the messaging away after the 2020 election...)
